Aside from a vibrant rap scene producing the likes of Mike Jones (I’m sure you remember him from your high school homecomings and parking lot meetups), Houston has a few interesting attractions to check out if you have some time to kill.

Behold the Beer Can House. John Milkovisch began this gem after retiring in 1968. He loved drinking beer but didn’t like the idea of his empty cans filling up a landfill, so he decided with all of his free time, he’d take to decorating the outside of his house with the cans.
He had the help of his wife and homies in drinking all that beer. Apparently there are over 50,000 cans (started in ’68 and he died in ’88). The dude was down.
