TCZ: D.C.
In a further attempt to stave off boredom and the feeling of unemployed uselessness, I present some more photos and a few words:
Boy! I love a good picture of the Red, White and Blue. Here are 15 and 1/4 from the ring around the Washington Monument.
We live in Cleveland Park. A quiet neighborhood in northwest D.C. We’re close to the National Zoo and the National Cathedral and the best pizza place, ever.
The Metro stations were designed in the Brutalist architectural style (Rob? Aaron?). They’re dark and dank, so when you emerge up top, it’s like being hoisted into the light from the underworld.
We got here before everything died for the winter. But now we’re in winter’s firm and icy grip, with no end in sight.
‘Nam Wall.

Hollerdays in DC
In an attempt to revive Main Grain and to do something “productive” while I’m not busy writing cover letters and sending off resumes, I’m posting some photographs I took around the district around the holidays.
The National Zoo hosted “Zoo Lights” during the holiday season. Since we live a block away, we decided to take the stroll.
Then there’s the National Christmas Tree – situated across from the White House. A bunch of train sets wind their ways around the tree, which, this year, came from Colorado (booyah, nation).
The red eyes of Washington keep watch over everything.
A Christmas-themed and obstructed view of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

TCZ: In the Driver’s Seat.
A few bros and their dope headshots.
Unfortunately when I had the idea for this Main Grain special, I didn’t get my hands on Tronald, Craney, Evan, Randy or Dr. Tan Leg’s photo IDs. Maybe someday soon….
